👉 For a present state;
e.g. He writes a letter.
It rains.
👉 For routines or habits;
e.g. I go for a walk daily.
Dogs bark.
👉 For jobs and hobbies;
e.g. He works as a clerk.
I play football on Sundays.
👉 For universal truth;
e.g. The sun rises in the east.
The earth revolves around the sun.
👉 For general facts;
e.g. That shirt belongs to my brother.
My friend likes English.
👉 We frequently use often, always, every day, once, twice etc. with the present simple.
