*****

The Poem, 'Keeping Quiet' is written by Pablo Neruda. It demands the necessity of quiet introspection. The poet wants us to keep silent and suspend all activities for a while so that we may introspect and understand ourselves. We should go deep into the soul for self introspection.

This will help us in creating a feeling of mutual understanding among human beings.  The poet  wants us to change our perspective and thinking. We should stop wars, hate, pollution, killing of animals and hurting ourselves.
